Clark County’s $500 Million Casino, which is slated to open spring of 2017, just declared two major hires this week. With over a decade worth of relevant experience, executives Al Muma and Jeffery Walker were just named Vice Presidents of Human Resources and Gaming.
Muma, who has worked at Snoqualmie Casino, Treasure Island Resort and Little River Casino, will oversee the hiring and structuring of Ilani Casino Resort. Employing hundreds of people, Ilani plans to include multiple restaurants, bars and retail outlets on top of their gaming offerings.
Walker, previously Vice President at Mohegan Sun Pocono, will be managing 100 thousand square feet of gaming, with plans for 2,500 slots and over 80 tables.
Located on the Cowlitz Tribe Reservation, just off of Interstate 5 near La Center, Ilani will become the largest and closest casino to Portland.
