Portland Named a Top 5 U.S. Housing Market

asfdPortland’s national profile is increasing each fiscal quarter. The “Top Single Family Housing Markets Report for Fall 2015” report shows the City of Roses ranking fifth across the nation.

Portland and Seattle are the only West Coast markets to rank in the top five. Average home sale prices are up 6 percent compared to September of 2014 at $352,000. The main reason for a thriving market? Tech sector job growth. Intel is headquartered just outside Portland, and Google just set up shop downtown.
