CAN A COMMAND HOOK HELP YOU ORGANIZE YOUR HOME?

My daughter recently moved into her first apartment with her fiance and step-daughter. She is the type of person who needs to have artwork and familiar items up on the walls to make her feel at home. The issue is in an apartment you can’t put holes on the wall. So what do you do? You use Command hooks. What I didn’t realize is that these hooks can help anyone, not just someone living in an apartment with organizingtheir home. Thanks to A Cultivated Nest I found 15 items to help you out - I’m only going to share a few because nobody’s got time for a hella long blog post. To see all 15 tips use the link above to read the entire article.

  • Food storage - We love quick cooking oats in our house. I never would have thought to use a small Command hook and attach it to the container holding the oats. Then I could hang the measuring up off the side of the container and boom, one step saved in the morning.
  • Hanging curtains - If you’re in an apartment and want curtains or you just don’t want to drill a hole into your walls use a jumbo command hook to hold up your curtain rod.
  • Hide cords - put Command hooks down the leg of a table or nightstand to hold the cords so you can hide them, and they won’t be in the way.

I’m sure if you sit down to think about it or go walk down the aisle that has Command hooks at your local home improvement you’ll come up with a million more ways to use Command hooks in your home. Happy organizing!
